IMI Critical UK - CCI Czech Republic
For IMI Critical UK - CCI Czech Republic we carried out a proof of concept (PoC) with Oracle Database Appliance to verify feasibility, licensing and the speed of an Oracle Database SE environment; it showed that the ODA was “8 times faster” than the original commodity hardware. In the next phase we recommended a suitable model and helped migrate the production, standby and test databases (9 instances) to production and non-production ODA systems. The final implementation phase was a DR site (standby database) built with Dbvisit Standby.
